Did you ever think, this may be the reason you've been shooting bad at the matches lately? Your eyes are changing(getting old), and your glasses aren't correct for you anymore.
That, and you're trying to shoot as fast as Jules does.  :pb

No I am actually shooting poorly, because I shoot poorly.  Not sure where anyone got this notion that somehow I shoot better than I am right now, lol.  Sorry to dissapoint but I will continue to shoot poorly, fyi.  And if I beat anyone in the process well that person may need glasses or shoot slower.

26 years on the LIRR, lots of lost family time, watching kids grow, missed concerts, sports. Went with the territory. So the MTA went with the BSC, a seperate company for payroll, healthcare, etc. The jobs combined of the operating divisions of the MTA, save time and them money.
Of course now these people know nothing beyond they work for BSC. Case in point recent conversation.
Me. I would like to retire this summer and need to know what date I can.
BSC you want to set up a appointment , you need to tell me what date you want to retire and it must be at least a month after your appointment.
Me.  That is what I first need to know, what date can I retire.
BSC so what date do you want?
Me.    (WTF) ok how about July 1.
BSC  do you want to meet in Manhattan interview hours are 9 AM to 2 PM ?
Me.    I work in JAMAICA FROM 5:45AM to 1:45PM think I can make it to you in time?

BSC  so you would like to meet in JAMAICA, we have a office we use there( this was the office pensions used to use when you could ask questions and get REAL answers)

Me.    ---------------- yes

BSC.    What time, we have slots on May 19?

Me.    Work til 1:45PM

BSC so a 2PM appointment?
Me.           Yeah in JAMAICA.
Of course got a call yesterday from BSC you missed your 11:45AM appointment on the 14th.

ME  really I have written down the 19th AND I work UNTIL 1:45pm did not ever schedule a 11:45 appointment. Now what? Next date?

BSC dates in June have the 9th.

Me ok good for me, work in JAMAICA until 1:45pm

BSC you want to come to our office in Manhattan? Date you want to retire?

Me July 1.

BSC.  date must be at least a month before you retire no good for JULY 1.

Needless to say still do not know if August 1 is a good date but there you go and Mr Cuomo and Prendergast more then your shit DOES STINK.

One of my best friends here at work retired last week. They're fleeing like rats from a sinking ship in my department, lots of people retiring because it seems the people in charge are doing everything possible to make it sink faster.

I have 23 years here. By the time I'm really eligible to retire I'll have 33 years. And unless something magical happens in the mean time, you know like hitting the lottery, that's not likely to happen then either. That's why my standard line now is "three days before the funeral" when people ask me when I'm retiring.

Ah graduation day. Oh so many beautiful girls. Half of them dressed like prostitutes. With their too high stripper shoes and their slutty little dresses that barely cover their hey-nanny-nanny.
Good grief. I mean, it's fun for us to look at, but this is how you dress to graduation? Your family is here, grandma is here beaming with pride, or she would be if you weren't dressed like a whore.

That does seem a bit out of place for graduation day.
