For most the cutting I had a mask on.  Then there was one cut I forgot to put it on and realized too late.  I probably breath some of it, but I was not coughing or felt anything wrong.  But I did not know it contained that chemical.  In youtube those guys working with speakers nevER mentioned that.  Thanks PB.

I have been feeling dizzy, but I attributed that to the ear issue... Dam it :(

I hope whatever it is my body can shake it off.  I really need to finish this project this weekend.

Btw, I have never seen this before my respirator/mask had water in it.  Not sweat or saliva, just water when I took it off.  My garage is not heated, I figure it was due to condensation, I wonder breathing all that humidity in got to me too somehow.

Did you have the mask on your ears?  Another reason for earmuffs.  :somb3

Some people have very bad reactions to formaldehyde, very allergic and being around MDF furniture, cabinates, etc slowly makes them deathly ill. (often people in mobile homes because of the smaller space and lots of MDF)

That would be a reasonable conclusion.  Lol.  But no.  Ear muffs were definitely something I missed.

Mdf is nasty stuff for those who work a lot with it. I've been building cabinets out of it for my garage. All cutting is done outside and I try to stand up wind. The dust is super fine compared to other woods which probably contributes to the problems.

Not sure if there are any Street Outlaw fans here. But some of the guys were at my local track today.

From watching it I know they have raced a team from the Dallas area. My daughter's should be on the big race show again this year,Pete from Baldwin who raced last year was invited back (he beat the pants off their guy in his mustang, but they claimed he jumped the light) again and Joe does the tuning for him.

I thought you gave up on casting bullets because of the toxic fumes? I guess you're in need of a little mind altering experience.  :dizzy:

Saw this link posted on BE. http://www.northeastshooters.com/vbulletin/threads/302999-Frog-Lube-is-Coconut-Oil-You-heard-it-here-first?p=4899527#post4899527 The claim is Frog lube is just scented coconut oil. No wonder a certain someone loves the stuff, as it probably can be substituted for sex lube.  :in-love:

That is most interesting ... :cui .  But it is really cool if trapped between enemy lines you can leak your gun and survive without food a little longer.  Genious!

In all the years, and I am now at that point where I can talk like I have some experience, the best lube I have found is engine oil.  I am now using it to protect the finish of my blue finished hand guns and on the rails and metal to metal points of contact  of my limited 10 and single stack pistols.  I used it there sparingly.  It is oblivious to temperature.  It can be cold or warm it works.  I do have other lubes I sometimes use only because I have them.   But Engine oil is my best one and I have plenty to last a life time with just one gallon.
