The funny thing is that people are smart enough to know not to drive into incoming traffic or cross the street only to face the front grill of an automobile.  Yet they see train tracks and suddenly they want to park on these or just go for a walk on the same.  Then they see a train coming and are not sure what to make of that thing fast approaching and making all that loud noise... -- what is that ..?  Squash!

Maybe the tracks have a weird effect in normal brain functioning.

Interesting article. This crossing has absolutely nothing. Not even a sign.

A friend is an insurance underwriter for rail roads. Another thing is that the failure to build more pipe lines will lead to thousands of deaths (already figured in the insurance equation)  do to increase rail traffic of volatile shale oil. Many times more deaths than caused by accidents at crossings.

"and research has shown that, on a per-mile basis, the accident rate is 3 to 3.5 times higher by rail vs. pipeline."

It was me alright. They passed me left to right, I stopped them and drew them in about forty yards closer with that pitiful deer bleat. lol When they got closer and saw me, they back tracked a bit, then ran back the way they came (which you watched). Didn't work a second time.

That was more deer than i've seen in the last 8 years of hunting.

In other news...   You know Trump doesn't really want to win.

If he does, he'll have to move into a smaller house in a black neighborhood.

Made some more progress on my reloading area. Just need to add a shelf somewhere for my two scales.

Not sure why I'm really posting this...
