Are your toilets still working?  :D

I don't know anyone who works over that way, so I don't think I can help. Guys who put new cesspools in are often looking for places to get rid of dirt.

It looks like you got lucky all things considered. The pavers could have added up in cost. Insurance should cover that I would think.

That is a good Point.  We know a guy who will do the work.  We also had our cesspool company come by and they confirmed that nothing was connected to that.  Our cesspool is on the front of the property.  This well was made with brik and mortar.  It almost looks like a chimney caved in when you look at the very bottom of the hole.

Wow.... glad no one was hurt.

You need to put a mannequin arm sticking out of the hole when they come to fill it.

That is pretty deep.
Don't feel bad though. I just found out today, my neighbors water line into their house froze up on Monday, and they still have no water today. It froze up somewhere underground near where the shutoff is on the sidewalk. The water company tried, but couldn't unfreeze it. The water company tomorrow is going to run a line from our outdoor spigot, to my neighbors outdoor spigot, to supply water into their house temporarily, with our permission of course. They said they will read our water meter beforehand, and neither of us will be charge for water use while it's connected. Don't know how a line running outside between 2 houses will not freeze up at night when temps are expected to drop into the mid teens at night. And hopefully once it does unfreeze, the water line isn't cracked. Or else they'll have a major expense having to excavate the front lawn to access the line.
Btw, anyone need to fill a pool while the water is free?  :money

The neighbor borrowing the water will need to drip a faucet 24x7 to prevent the hose from freezing.

We have outdoor tankless water heaters and need to do the same a few times a year.

I hope Cuomo is proud.
He is. In fact he's so proud of himself, he thinks he'll be a contender for the Presidency in 2020.   :laughlol
