Those are some large deer. The ones we get here are about 1/3rd the size.

Got myself a new eveglass prescription this week. Las one was over 7 years ago, and I knew my eyes were getting worse. I was having trouble seeing targets very clear, and transistioning to another target. Now with the new prescription, the targets downrange are crystal clear. But the sights on the gun appear blurry. With the old glasses, the sights are clearer, but the target is blurry.
At the range I shot alternating the 2 glasses. But not sure which is better; target clear, or sights clear. What's everyone elses experience with this?

I am as conflicted as you.

My eyes are getting bad too.

For me, it is target focused and sights blurry.  Mainly because that is what my eyes are willing to do with my current nearsighted prescription glasses.    If I take them off, my focused goes to the sights and the target is blurry.  For some odd reason I can't hit shit when the target is blurry, even when I have decent sight alignment and sight picture.  If I have to guess, I think it is mental.  I likely I panic when I can't clearly see the target...

I was trying a few quick double taps from a low gun, to see how I do with the new glasses. Even though I could barely see the sights(also from the lower light indoors), I managed to mostly hit the A zone. It was like shooting, and not seeing the gun, but the target was crystal clear, and I was hitting it. I guess I just need to get used to it. Like you said, it's mental.  :dizzy:

Glasses worked well at the match yesterday. I always see better outdoors, than indoors.
